Music NEW ARRIVAL | Monday Michiru's 2 new Albums Out via DGA

If you don't already have Monday Michiru's 2 new releases (what's up
with you?), which came out June 27, you can now order it from a couple
US based shops including Dusty Groove America - link is below: this
means you'll save considerably opposed to a week ago, when CD Japan and
HMV JPN were for the most part the only ones (exceptions: comfort,
jpophelp) carrying these type of new JPN discs (aside from yesasia,
which is mainstream) with shipping fees similar to Amazon, CDNow
(~$2),...; so rather than paying USD$12 for shipping from CDJapan, our
savior for all things Japan, pick up Michiru's new discs @ DGA.

And DGA's selling them for about $10 less than other places. Asahiya in
Los Angeles is selling it for $35, and DGA (below) is seling for $26.99.
    (it's like saving $22)

    Monday Michiru -- Recollections (Remixes & Covers) . . . CD . . . $26.99

    Polydor (Japan), 2001
A collection of hard-to-find work by Monday Michiru -- featuring mixes
and covers that have been issued as singles in the past, and which fit
together surprisingly well as a full LP! If you know Monday's work, you
know that her singles often feature versions of tracks that are quite
different than the LP versions -- recrafted with the help of some of the
best NuSoul producers and remixers, like Joe Claussell, Masters At Work,
Shinchi Osaway, and Bluey, all of whom contribute work to this set. The
package is great -- and with a total of 11 tracks in all, it will save
you a lot of time (and money) tracking down those expensive import 12"
singles! The set's mixed together -- but not strongly, so that all the
songs are very much intact -- and titles include "I Wanna Be Where You
Are", "Lovin You (acoustic live version)", "Double Image (live at Manic
One rmx)", "Chasing After The Sun (Banda Black Lero mix)", "Yellow Bird
(Incognito Capoeira mix)", "Tomorrow's Sunrise (Murphy meets Titomaxx)",
"Love Flow (Mango margarita mix)", "Mysteries Of Life (Ananda Project
Black Tail dub)", and "Higher (higher dub)".

    Monday Michiru -- Selections '97-'00 . . . CD
    Polydor (Japan), Late 90s
A great selection of tracks by one of the best soul singers around!
Japanese/American vocalist Monday Michiru's been one of the few new
artists we've supported heavily since our "dusty" past -- and this 12
set is a wonderful sampling of tracks she's recorded over the past few
years, years that have seen Monday move into a variety of new styles,
ever expanding her creative range to always keep us coming back for
more! There's some numbers on here that are lifted from hard to find
singles, plus more that stand out as some of her best LP tracks of
recent years -- and titles include "Play It By Ear", "Emerald Life
(Nunca Tan Fermosa Cosa Vido)", "You Make Me", "Chances", "Full Bottle
Of Soul", "Do It Again", "Stop & Listen", "Supirar", "Fallin (Indian
Summer mix)", "Chasing After The Sun (Barefood n Pregnant version)", and
    "Thinking Of You".
