    SYNTHESIS' SIZZLIN' SUMMER CONTINUES

SYNTHESIS invites you to get into the groove all month!
the music / the poetry / the people / the culture

We had a GREAT Urban Groovz this past Sunday (July 8th) with Tehut-Nine from
Brooklyn and UPstream from Atlanta. The vibe clicked and wouldn't quit.
Tehut spit knowledge with style and conviction. UPstream's hypnotic grooves
threatened to snap necks. The open mic poets vibed off UPstream's groove to
weave their lyrics into the night's fabric. Chain of Thought made a cameo
appearance droppin rhymes that people are still repeating. DJ Berraco
kicked off and closed out the night spinning some nutritious cuts from Rare
Grooves to Hip-Hop; it was a top shelf evening of cultural innertainment in
    Birmingham @ Urban Groovz!
