    hey sports fans!

This Saturday, Bottom Heavy is proud to bring you our first extra-large
guest, one of the highest musical caliber. He's been a leading innovator in
the drum'n'bass scene for years, recording with partner G-Force for the
always forward-thinking Reinforced label, and recently he's been pushing
musical boundaries as part of the West London-centered Broken Beat movement
alongside folks like Dego and 4 Hero (2000 Black Recordings), I. G. Culture
(New Sector Movements, Main Squeeze/People Recordings), Bugz In The Attik
(Bitasweet Recordings), Kaidi Tatham, Mark De Clive-Lowe and more, and most
recently has complete some original and remix work as Opaque for SF's own
    Ubiquity label.

    His name is
    **SEIJI**

After seeing his mindblowing performance with Dego, Jazzanova and Vikter
Duplaix at this year's WMC, we knew we had to bring him out West. Do NOT
MISS this fusion of off-kilter breakbeats, jazz and low-end science -- THIS
IS WHAT BOTTOM HEAVY IS ALL ABOUT! The dubplates should be flying fast and
furious, and if our Miami experience was anything to go by, this is going to
be a life-changing experience. No shit.

Opening will be True Intent/Bottom Heavy's own Mikebee & Jason Greer,
celebrating the imminent release of their newest mix CD, "The Pair
Extraordinaire". The two will be on hand warming up the crowd with past
nu-jazz flavors to whet your appetite for the schooling to come. Here's the
    schedule:

    10-12 Mikebee & Jason Greer
    12-2 Seiji

    the details: $10, 21+ @ The Top 424 Haight St/Fillmore

PLUS: after Bottom Heavy, we're taking a contingent down to the DNA Lounge,
where Mikebee will be throwing down 2-Step jams from 3-5am for the
early-morning warehouse crew! It's gonna be a loooong weekend. :)

    SEE YOU THERE!
    the bottom heavy gang
