There are many influences that have been producing
this sound for more that five years. You can credit
Carl Craig and several Detroit techno producers. I
would credti early Black Dog and Warp records with a
broken beat vibe. I would have to say that Dego and
the Rienforced camp have been producing the brlken
beat material since about 1996. The best reference I
can give is from the Metlaheadz tin box set: 'Dollis
Hill- "Desist" Da Black' released 1997.
