Yea i ditched the idea of dealing with satellite a long time ago. I don't
know if they turned it around or not (sounds like a no), but even just going
down to the store and trying to get out of there with some records without
aggravation proved to be futile. This was reflected in the mail order
    experience i had as well.

Online Record stores i look forward to dealing with:
    Dubspot
    Groovedis
    Dustygroove
    Release the Groove
    Napster ;P

Online Record stores that get the gas face:
    Satellite Records
    PlanetX
    Mizzo
    Recordstore.co.uk

About a year ago I ordered from Satellite Records a couple times because of
the real audio section that made decisions convienient and easy. Both
times, they didn't have half of what I ordered and what the website said
they had. Some of the covers were badly damaged but the vinyl was ok. I
wouldn't recommend ordering from satellite unless they have something you
can't find anywhere else... but even then there's no guarantee you'll get
it. Satellite is not reliable for online ordering. And even with some of
the other online stores I haven't had the best luck. If you do decided to
order from an online shop... CALL THEM! Be sure you speak directly to the
staff so you know right away what is in stock. If you live in a relatively
high populated city, you can most likely just tell the staff what you
looking for and they should be able to get it. Like Jason and many others
on this list I'm sure, I use Groovedis (for imports) the shops didnt already

get in. I ordered some nice stuff from Bent Crayon the otherday (my 1st
time), and hopefully it will get here soon. Anyone have any experience with
    Bent Crayon?
