    ARTIST: The Beard
TITLE: Someday (Phuturistix / Bobtrax mixes)
    LABEL: Inspirit Music
    RELEASE: November

"Deep Jazzanova-like breaks and a subtle vocal spells dancefloor danger
from clubs like Forward through to Plastic People. File under 'da next level
of da shit." (Martin Clarke, Mixmag)

After several months of anticipation the remixes of The Beard's Someday
finally see a full release due to the huge response from white labels
    currently doing the rounds.

The remixes take the blissful, Naked Music style house grooves onto the next
level of broken beatz and thoughtful 2-step.
The Phuturistix mix (a.k.a Zed Bias and Maddslinky) is a soulful two
stepper with rhodes and rhythms a plenty. An awesome slice of jazzy beats,
this has been getting support from nu jazz heads such as Patrick Forge, DJ
Morpheus and Alan Brown as well as respected 2-step artists Jay Da Flex and
    Landslide.

The Bobtrax remix follows along the same route as the flipside, throwing in
extra atmospherics and some low-end bass for good measure.

With a 5/5 in Mixmag, and Radio One plays from Gilles Peterson this one
    should be big.
