oops, forgot to send this to the list yesterday.

Aaron, the Twilight links will definitely be of interest to you also,
and I think somebody else suggested checking out the releases on
Portland's B.S.I. label... quality goods here, leaning more towards dub
(rootsy and thick, modern sounds) but also some chatting and dancehall
flavoured stuff. They're just releasing the new Henry & Louis album btw,
which is Andy Scholes from Bristol alongside citymates like Rob Smith
(Smith & Mighty) and a whole number of Jamaican vocalists (originals,
not sampled vocals). More than worth hunting down, in fact very
necessary if you're into this stuff. Check the new Jah Warrior/Peter
Broggs release too, Dry & Heavy, mmm...could go on. Enjoy!

    hey Tahira,

Here are a couple of good places to start:

ï Blood + Fire Records: brilliant label, primarily focussed on
re-releasing classic Jamaican roots reggae and dub with incredibly
beautiful and detailed linernotes etc. The newish 'Darker Than Blue'
    comp is a must have!

ï Twilight Circus Dub Sound System: Ryan's site is really detailed,
nicely done, personal and full of amazing links that should keep you
    entertained and informed for hours

BTW, for more newschool dub sounds, the Guidance Hi-Fidelity Dub series
is great. 'Chapter 3' has just come out and is solid. One of my fave
tracks on it is by Daddy Ous ("Tou le Monde"), who also has an
incredible 12" called "Hard Like a Rock" on Guidance right now. Anybody
know anything about him? Sweet, sweet production and vocals! Aching to
know if he has (or is working on an album)!
