Hope all is well...for the first time since I have been working with Chico,
Chico's Koch Jazz album FORESTSTORN is on the 44th Grammy Awards
Entry List...page 45-2 #070 under Field 9- Jazz Category 45- Best Jazz
Instrumental Album, Individual or Group...nothing would make me MORE
HAPPY than to secure for Chico in his 80th year his FIRST Grammy
Nomination, and I ask all my friends who are NARAS members to PLEASE
vote for Chico's album, and if any of my friends who have friends who are
NARAS members ask them to PLEASE vote for Chico's album...and for
those of you who are NARAS members in fields of endeavor outside of jazz,
and have leftover categories, PLEASE vote for Chico's album!! Please keep
in mind that the deadline for having ballots back in LA is November 30th, and
that NARAS recommends having them back in the mail by November 23rd!!
Also PLEASE do let me know if you will be voting for Chico's album, as I am
