    not much to report this week.... but we did finally finished making the
    covers for the Spaceman 7" by Alex Epton and myself. they definitely
    look pretty cool. we're only doing 200 covers 'cause they're all hand
    made (2 different paper colors plus a couple different colors for the
    wood block stamp). we're gonna be folding and glueing them this weekend.
    If you're interested in getting a copy of the 7" email me
    tim@beatsinspace.net or just hit reply. (it got a 9/10 in Vice Magazine
    last month, so it can't be too bad. heh)

    new albums to check out: Fridge "Happiness" on Text. The Avalanches
    "Since I Left You" on XL. N.E.R.D "In Search Of..." on Virgin(find this
    while you can, 'cause The Neptunes decided they didn't want to release
    this album in the U.S. and instead want to recreate the whole thing with
    a live band).

    Beats in Space is broadcast every Thursday on 89.1 FM from 10:30pm to
    1:00am in the nyc tri-state area.

    BiS weeklies:::
    tuesday's ::: 9pm at the bOb bar (on eldridge and houston) for the
    Gasface Re:fill party... hip-hop, reggae and nice beats provided by
    P-Love, San-Q, J-Smoke, Nine Lives, Tim S. and variuous guest DJ's. it's
    a nice little party, so stop by if you can.

    wednesday's ::: 7 to 10:00 pm at Plant Bar (E. 3rd st. between ave. B &
    C). guest DJ's weekly, and some really nice parties happen afterwards.
    *This party got written up in the Village Voice... check it out here :
    http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/0128/clublist.shtml

    saturday's :::: at Lush (110 Duane St. in tribeca) from 10pm until I
    get too tired to play. should be a nice little thing. Lush is probably a
    little too fancy for my tastes (but I guess you'd expect that from a
    lounge in tribeca)... but I'll be filling the place with the BiS sounds,
    so it should be ok. we'll see.

    return 0;
