    OK, I have to get into this...I think the medium does NOT matter, especially
    if the DJ is beatmatching/blending or simply transitioning. I DJ mostly
    with CDs, and personally prefer them to vinyl, especially since you do not
    get feedback with CDs as you often do through a needle.
    I think the only time vinyl is truly important is when the DJ is a scratch
    or trick DJ, like Kid Koala or DJ Logic (and even he samples his band
    digitally and plays it back). When the DJ image becomes more important than
    the music the DJ is playing, then there is a problem...don't you agree?
