Nice to see lots of mentions of Kieran Hebden/Four Tet on here. I'll add
my voice to the cheers for his recent-ish Pause album (on Domino in
North America). It's brilliant and beautiful all while being fairly
abstract and moody. Or maybe emotive is the word. Whatever, it's great.

Definitely one for you fans of Manitoba (Dan Snaith), whose debut album
on Leaf, Start Breaking My Heart, got lots of love on this list. Dan was
influenced heavily by Kieran, and now the two are starting to DJ,
perform and work together. Actually, there's a new Four Tet remix EP
called 'Paws' coming out on Domino on Nov. 27th. Haven't heard it yet,
but there are remixes by Manitoba, fellow Torontonian Koushik (who has
music coming soon on Kieran's Text label), and also experimental hip hop
    head Boom Bip.

If you're interested, I interviewed Kieran recently for a piece about
both Four Tet and his three-piece 'rock' band Fridge (whose brand new
album Happiness is totally fantastic btw). Here's the link to the
