    Just got back from a quick vaction and these were the tunes
    giving me some electric relaxation during those long plane
    rides and late nights in a strange bed.

    * Bilal: 1St born Second -- Great philly soul from the
    newest soulaquarian. I just can't get 'Soul Sista' and
    'sometimes' out of my head. Likewise, 'Reminisce', the Mos
    Def/Common collabo is hot!
    * Poets of Rhythm: Discern/Define -- I'm surprised I
    haven't heard more about this on the list. Great new
    old-school funk/soul from Germany via Ninjatune/Quannum.
    * EBTG: Back To Mine -- Another great installment in this
    series of mellow, after-hours compilations.
    * Stanton Warriors: The Stanton Sessions -- Breaks, Baby.
    * De-Phazz: Death By Chocolate

    12" that are straight up killing me recently:
    * Rae & Christian - Not Just Anybody (At Jazz remix): words
    just can't express the beauty of this track...
    * Mark De Clive-Lowe - Day By Day (DJ Spinna remix)

    Not much acid-jazz to speak of I guess, but oh well.
    Actually, bought a heap of records on vacation, so now that
    i'm near turntables, I'm looking forward to some intense
    listening sessions with the new Osunlade, Shur-I-Kan,
    Boozoo Bajoo, and Out Patients 2 records (takes a while to
    get my hands the new stuff up north here).
