        hi list,

listening to Pete Rock's Petestrumentals, instrumental hip hop. Nice album. but....

I can't play it in my laptop or desktop pc..The covers says locked by Digilock...is this a new trend? It's just stupid.
if I want to rip it I can do it from my cd-player anyway so what's the use?

Well, at least it says it on the cover. A women here in California is suing the label that has a anti-copying device on a CD she bought. Though I've also heard that they're cracking down on 'cracked' DVD players, it seem to be the trend. But, do some searches for CD RIPers on the net. There are some ways to get around the 'lock'.
