    Hi ppl

From the crates of Groovedis I spotted Danish hip hop,
downbeat groove meisters long awaited debut album.

    >> Pelding album on Jazz Fudge

Expectations have been grand on behalf of these local
talents, and the talents of the boys sent shockwaves
through the audience at their debut concert two months
    ago at Vega.

    Sensational Debut Pelding, Vega, Copenhagen.

Sensations are not daily news on the Danish music scene - at least not when its measured in music quality - but the domestic hip hop scene has no less than two top secrets names which surely can compete with the very best from abroad.

    Prunes and Pelding.

Two names you should bookmark. Unfortunately the line-up in both acts is very similar and that may be the reason why we had to wait so long for their debut albums.

Pelding is out now with their album on the highly acclaimed UK label Jazz Fudge.
For once the Copenhagen Jazz Festival had changed the same old well known bigwigs out with something new and refreshing and given Pelding the chance to show if the rumours that have been told about them were for real.

Pelding is a liveband , and everything they do is played live. No use of samplers or sequensers here .

Guests on the new album include Motion Man, Virtuoso,
Jan Kincaid of Brand New Heavies, Swedish rapper Timbuktu plus local talent galore.

I am sure this album will appeal to many listees as it has thrilled me for some
months now. And ironically as it may seem, Dirk has gotten hold of the release
even before it has hit the streets in Denmark :-) Good job !!!

Go seek, and if you like this Danish vibe, make sure to check out Blue Foundation.
Musically you will find this act in between Pelding and Dj Krush.

    Enjoy.
