You know EVERY Western song's been sampled when even John Cage's (apparently now seminal) song 4'33" has been sampled, vis a vis "One Minute's Silence" by Mike Batt, on "The Planets." 4'33" comprises a musician at his or her instrument for 4 minutes and 33 seconds, not playing anything--the piece is the silence of the instrument, plus any other incidental noise occuring during the piece. Even silence has been sampled.
