    heikki k's december joints

    dreas - boomers (heardrums 7")¨
an excellent shadow-esque instrumental hip hop track with a banging but
groovy drum break, haunting strings and rough production. a definite single
of the month! don't know anything about the artist or the label, except that
the label is from chicago, illinois, usa.

peven everett - one more time (abb soul lp track)
smooth, mellow soul. aa fine track indeed. pleasant, as is the whole 'studio
    confessions' lp.

mr güder - diggin' dirt (funkydown 7")
from mellowness to ultimate roughness! uk raw'n'shitty punk funk duo(?!?)
mr. güder hits us hard with this one. anyone else into tongue-in-cheek
roughness should also check out güder's hilarious version of 'chameleon'!

    edan - mc's smoke crack (lewis 12")
a way out fine take from edan's 'sprain your tapedeck' ep!

charisma band - charisma road (buddah 7")
a bit cheesy but somewhat weirdly nice funk track. or something. i do like
    this anyway!

baker brothers - bakers groove (arse 7")
    - a wicked'n'gritty afrobeat tune from uk's baker bros. extra props for the
    rude label name!

dj yoda feat people under the stairs - quid control (antidote 12")
    - uk turntable wiz DJ Voda with the ever-vigilant p.u.t.s. give us this
    brilliant laid back track.

don pierce - this funky thing (majestic 7")
    - deep funk cut of the month!

leon thomas - love each other (flying duthman 7")
    - fine uplifting soul!

larry williams & johnny guitar watson: too late (okeh 7")
    - a northern soul classic that i'll never stop lovin'!
