     Casey,

perhaps this list is too tame for you? If you want discussion then you
need to at least try to make it happen instead of doing all your painting
with a critical and sarcastic brush. It is true that there are other lists
where some acid-jazz people now are found for whatever reasons but you
will have to find them yourself Casey. I am sure that with you being as
incredibly smart as you are you will have no problem locating anything you
want on the internet, the trouble will probably come with the question of
whether those lists want you and the acid and bile you seem to reflux at
everything that is written here. Believe it or not, this list is not only
for very specific discussion and it definitely is not for only what you
define as being worthwhile as subject matter, while you may find playlists
insipid, there are some people here who find them interesting. There are
often discussions on subjects that I have no interest in and consequently
I just ignore them, perhaps you can manage to do the same or else go find
a board that has the sort of topics you want to discuss. The roadmaps that
people take to get where they are is part of their history and it is
interesting to some people here, again you can easily choose to ignore
these threads. What music do you actually like and what are you listening
to now, if anything at all? Instead of being super-critical why don't you
offer the list something worthwhile in terms of discussion, there are
people out here who will participate if you are able to generate something
of interest, are you capable of that or are you just interested in the
fight? There are many people here who want to know what other people are
listening to and the "on my cd player" does fill that role, again if you
cannot handle it then find some other list to hang your pointed little hat
    on!
