(Expansions June update)
It was certainly not the Football world cup the reason
for this months delay... I have rather been playing so
many good records that I hardly had any spare time to
update Expansions.
I'm sorry not to have reviewed some of the wicked
releases that arrived in the very last minute
(rhythmic comp., the menheads rmxs, da lata, traffic
II comp.,...) . I hope to be able to do it next month.
This time, Expansions main content is focused on two
distant corners of the planet. Seu Jorge, one of
Brazil finest artists, with his album "Carolina"
having worldwide distribution on Mr.Bongo, and the
bigger bush in Britain: Lighting Head delivering dope
crossover music on his forthcoming "Studio don" album
on Best seven/Sonar Kollektiv.
Stateless, Seiji, Agent K, Kaori, Maddslinky, Joel
Harrison, Volcov & Paradox, Oba funke... get their new
singles reviewed.
Spanish label Hi Top is about to release a good bunch
of new records, the Metalheadz crew is back, Masters
at Work still very busy,... find out more in the news
section.
