('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) A fashion show? funny...

Actually a caught them when Latyrx/Blackalicious opened a show at the (now defunct) ARO.Space a while back.. Jazzanova, I think was on the bill, but it's funny.. they came on after Latyrx and Blackalicious had already performed -- as everyone was leaving. I kinda hung around in the back... and was really thrown back at the what they were playing... I think that was my intro to Jazzanova -- never heard of em' before that.. For all I knew, the were a bunch of local dj's or maybe from san francisco, touring w/ quannum...

    hang out?

I'm not really in seattle, so i'm not up there 'that' often.. but when I do go, it's usually for a show or for some records.. The Nation, sky church, the croc, showbox ofcourse..... I used to catch quite a few djs appearing at the Baltic room, but that doesn't seem to happen as often... the hiphopsite.com store used to be a fun place to go, but that shut down a while back; not sure why.

    > i DID see them in vancouver at last years vanc. jazz fes

Are you going this year? Antibalas is coming through... can't wait!
