The one stop shop that is like a hub for all things very musically good in
Manchester is the Fat City Record shop on 20 Oldham St or www.fatcity.co.uk

You'll likely run into Grand Central records artists, Waiwan, Mr. Scruff or
Treva Whateva if they are in town...all picking up new bits at Fat City.

This is the crew that brings me over to spin their Friends & Family parties
from time to time. There's also the Unabomber's Electric Chair parties, and
Rude Movements on a Sunday...a party run by the heads of Rainy City records.

Fat City is in the midst of about 10 record shops in a 2 or 3 block area with
a bunch of funky shops and food places so be sure to check it out...you can
practically walk from the Manchester Piccadilly Station which is the main
    station in town.

    Enjoy!
