i was just listening to the breakestra's live mixtape vol. 1 -- a japanese import that I bought from dusty groove -- and something crossed my mind that is driving me crazy.
well over 2 years ago, i remember discussion on this list about another funk collective -- I believe they had 10 or 12 members -- that was from Hawaii I thought. Maybe they were based in Cali but played in Hawaii a lot.
For the life of me, I cannot remember their name ... I think they had a female singer among others ... aargh! it's really bugging me.
any one know who the hell i'm talking about? i know soon as i see it, it'll all come back to me ...
