Hey... has anyone else had the experience of writing about some artist on
the aj list and having that person write you back personally?
This has happened to me 3 times now.... A famous concert promoter wrote to
me after I gave a less than positive review of one of his shows... a famous
drummer from a famous band wrote me asking about samples of his tune...
And lastly, when I shot up the flair about Jessica Lauren's "The Name of
Fela..." Jessica herself wrote me! Not only that, since I told her my band
was going to cover it, she took time out of her schedule and wrote me a
lengthy email and gave me detailed insight of the arrangement! Ingenious!
Gotta love the internet! Watch what u say, and props to Jessica! That really
means something, when an artist takes the time to detail a track that u
love...!!!
