Upcoming Release :: New Monday Michiru Album on New Okino Shuya Label
! some great news about bird yesterday. now some more joy-inducing
news: this time about Monday Michiru.
first, the side info. Okino Shuya, one half of Kyoto Jazz Massive, is
creating a new record label. his first i believe. his younger brother
Yoshihiro already has his own label/shop, Especial. now Shuya will have
his own and it's named after his own music magazine, Quality! Records.
now onto the Monday Michiru news, which i was made aware of thanks to a
very kind Jason Batog (much thanks!) who passed it on to me. Monday
Michiru's new upcoming album will be on Okino Shuya's new label around
November this year. her previous record was released in July 2002, so
it looks like she's on schedule to continue her album a year pace.
ironically, although an indie artist, this will be her first studio
album on an indie label.
