    Greetings,

I really hate missing a broadcast, but next week The Cinematic Orchestra is in town (and I'm going), so we'll be live on tape and bringing you two outstanding mix sets from the team of Mitchell & Dewbury. As you probably know by now, Ben Mitchell is one of the people behind Mr. Hermano and Russ Dewbury is a DJ extraordinaire who can be heard on the BBC and at his weekly jazz club nights in Brighton. Their new album Globetrotter presents a variety of styles and influences, with jazz being the lynch pin. Each of them have prepared an hour of their favorite new jams and have made sure to include tracks from their own album as well. If you can't make it down to Bimbo's for Cinematic Orchestra, this might be the next best thing.

Speaking of Bimbo's, we'll have tickets to give away for the show, as well as tickets to see the ESL tour this weekend, featuring Nicola Conte, Thunderball and Ursula 1000 at Club Six. We also have a number of CDs and 12"s to lay on you, thanks to J. Warrin and the Ism label, so be sure to tune in this evening.

On the list of new releases this week are albums from Emo, Moodlex, Sandoz, London Elektricity, Teledubgnosis and if the mood strikes me, a selection from the Radiohead's Hail To The Theif.

    Ciao for now,
    David
