    Hello all,

The mightiest week that I can remember on all fronts in a long-ass time. I'm
running out the door to try to catch The Fall (@ the Echo) for the 10th time
in 17 years (yes, I was 14 the first time I saw 'em). After that, probably
either Afro-Mystik/J-Boogie's Dubtronic Science + Gina Rene/People Under the
    Stairs/Iz + Diz/Rithma (@ Qtopia) or Deep Dish (@the Palace). If I were on
the westside, I'd of course be hitting The Rebirth/Peven Everett and Truby
Trio. Tomorrow, I'll be @ DJ Yellow (after the ultra-rare double feature of
films by the absolute god of Japanese film, Seijun Suzuki, @ the
Cinematheque), and Sunday, Ben Watt + Groove Junkies (after seeing the
theatrical genius of our time, Lady Bunny, @ WeHo Pride).
NYC and London are just as miraculous tonight. If you're in one of these
three cities and you don't go out this evening due to anything other than
lack of financial resources or deathly illness, you're a straight-up
    philistine.

    Respectfully,

    Brian Baltin
