What is one of the best events held in the city of Atlanta?
What has happened every Memorial Day weekend for the past 26 years?
What is one of the largest *FREE* music events in the country?

Why the Atlanta Jazz Festival. . .of course!

The Atlanta Jazz Festival has, throughout its history, played host to the
world's greatest jazz legends and has showcased up-and-coming giants. The
Festival has also bolstered Atlanta's recognition as a major cultural center in the
Southeast and continues to draw thousands of visitors to the city with its
creative programming, family activities and ancillary exhibitions.

The Free Weekend Concert Series starts THIS SATURDAY!!
Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-26th) in midtown Atlanta's beautiful Piedmont
Park. This year's festival will take place on the Oval (ballfields which are
between the 12th and 14th street park gates off Piedmont Avenue).

The Atlanta Jazz Festival is a program of the City of Atlanta Bureau of
Cultural Affairs.  Festival parking is extremely limited, so patrons are encouraged
    to take MARTA (Midtown Station).
