Much love and respect to everyone who supported Higher Ground and CIUT
during our fund drive last week. With your help we were one of the
highest grossing shows on the station! I promise that this week there
will be a lot less talking and a lot more music. Lats of great parties
this weekend as well, starting this Friday night at Roxy Blu with the
next installment of “Can You Feel It”, a full night of classic house. If
you missed the last few, do not miss this. Two great parties to check on
Saturday. First of all Movement presents the first ever Toronto
appearance of Italy’s DJ Nicola Conte at Una Mas (422 Adelaide West).
Tickets are 10 dollars and available now at all the regular spots. Also
that night join General Eclectic, DJ Stuart and myself at Footprints for
a night of deep funk, jazz and afro cuban dancefloor business. It all
happens at the Rivoli(332 Queen St West). The first five people to email
back will get on the guestlist for either event! Until next week, keep
your feet firmly planted on that Higher Ground! JP
