Iıd also be grateful for any info on the full-length, but figured Iıd offer
background in case anyone needs it. Alison was a King Britt discovery from
Philly, and first appeared on Sylk 130ıs gorgeous ³Seasons Change,² which
was featured on the (Japanese) Brownswood Workshop comp, and later on Sylkıs
When the Funk Hits the Fan LP, where she also contributed vocals to the
SUBLIME jazz stormer ³New Love,² (the first reference to her as Diva Blue)
and ³Gettinı Into It.² She resurfaced last year on Landslideıs colossal (and
essential) two-step killer ³Itıs Not Over.² A few months back saw her doing
a date @ the Jazz Café in London, and I had also heard about the LP, but
with no details. Still waiting anxiously.

    Best,

    Brian Baltin
