a big thank you to everyone for contributing...
especially Dr A for his insightful info
on Mexico as we were talking about what it might be like.
it's interesting because when i was record collecting in the mid-late
80's on the west coast... i was going to shops specialising in disco
and they were getting in collections from people whose partners were
dj's and passed away...
garage sales - known as boot sales in england are still a good place
-probably anywhere in the world - to hunt down interesting musical
gems.
i'll pass this info onto my friend whose really a soul jazz funk
purist & like some of us prefers to do vinyl shopping in reality
vs online.
