    Hello all,

Wanted to revive some incarnation of the e-mail Gig Guide (For those new
to the a-jazz list or the soundlounge group, I cover London, Los Angeles,
New York, and Chicago.), but am trying something different. Instead of a
weekly or bi-weekly posting with the full venue/date info that's already on
the Liquidator site (which I'm afraid I just don't have time for - too busy
looking for graphic or writing (and of course ALWAYS DJ) work!), I'll be
sending out a blanket overview when there's just SO MUCH LOVELINESS in the
immediate offing - summing up the BEST gigs (only the best - there are more
odds and ends on the site) I already have info on for a month or beyond. If
you want the venue and date for a gig, just follow the link to the site.
Believe me, this isn't meant to be a tease, I'm just low on time. Of course
other gigs will come up that'll be added to the site weekly, but I'm hoping
this format'll be some kind of help to people living in any of the four
fronts that can't keep up with comprehensive listings, or people anywhere
that might be about to travel to one of these destinations. Or if you're
like me, you might just have a masochistic curiosity per those blisteringly
brilliant line-ups that you can't possibly travel to see!
Also for anyone interested, I'll be tagging onto the bottom the Liq
picks for the best film loveliness just out or about to be out on DVD (tied
into the DVD buyer's guide on the LIq site -
    http://www.liquidatorgraphics.com/culture/liqdvdguide.htm/).
All that said, dig these listings because the next few months,
especially in L.A. for once, are just INSANELY GORGEOUS!

    Respectfully,

    Brian Baltin
