Yipes! OK, this is off the cuff.. tried doing a top 10 favourite songs thing
before and ended up with a list of about 40 tunes that I just didn't have
    the heart to cut down...

    My throw:

Goldie : Inner city life (and indeed the great Timeless album.. topical
    title for this!!)
The 4 Hero Remixes of 'I am the black gold of the sun' (Jocelyn Brown) and
    'Twisted' (Ultra Naté)
    Massive Attack : Protection
Underworld : 2nd toughest in the infants
Lost Highway soundtrack (especially the Badalamenti/Adamson/Mancini/Jobim
    tracks)
LTJ Bukem : Horizons & Sunrain singles
Serge Gainsbourg remixes (Herbert in particular)
are Jon Lucien and Freddie Hubbard too old for this?
Pat Metheny Group : The road to you (that great live album)
    Bernard Wright : 'Nard
Me'Shell Ndegeocello : Plantation lullabies (and the latest 2 albums,
    superrrb!)

    Rockwise :

    Helmet : Meantime/Strap it on/Betty
Girls Against Boys : House of GVSB
    Quicksand : Slip
Faith No More : The real thing / Angel Dust / King for a day...
    Sonic Youth : Dirty/Goo
    Singles Sountrack

    That's my mama!
