    Hey, thank you Bob, for telling us about the Devoted Spirits album. It
    looks incredibly good, and how could it not be with Larry Dunn, Ronnie Laws,
    and Jonny Graham on it?! It is kind of interesting how there is the
    official EW&F, and then there are groups that other original members have
    that play EWF classics. Like Al McKay and the LA Allstars, and I think
    Jonny Graham has a band like that too. And now there is Devoted Spirits.

    I actually don't have the problem you have with EWF. Yes, they did get
    cheesy, but not velveeta like Kool and the Gang and especially the
    Commodores did. In my opinion, 1977's _All 'n All_ is their best album. I
    don't hear an ounce of disco in Serpentine Fire...it's pure Funk.
