Starting next week Quincy Jointz from Radio42 and Rusty Belicek of the The All Good Funk Alliance join Lime Sorbet! These brilliant DJ's not only know their records they are also talented recording artists. Both Rusty and Quincy have a strong taste for thick funky-soulful grooves, so indeed we are quite happy to have them co-host Lime Sorbet.
n Freiburg Germany's Quincy Jointz has been working with Radio since the 80's and currently host a tight show called "International Freeridin" on Radio42. When in the studio Quincy works under the alias Geriba along with his partner Jörn. These guys are doing some really cool stuff that should be out on streets in the near future.
Rusty Belicek is co-founder of the Funk Weapons label along with his good friend Frank Cueto who is also the other half of AGFA. These cats are seriously blowing up right now. Currently Rusty and Frank have their plate full with not only the production of original material but also a healthy amount remix projects. Known for their thick funky style and high end production, AGFA have currently become one of our favorites. . http://www.funkweapons.com/

n . Over the past year our ears have been listening high and low for new talent and when the demo of Micahel DeVellis arrived we knew this was not one to pass up. Yet another developing multi-instrumental addition to the label, Michael began playing the violin at the age of 5 and the saxophone at 10. Some of you who've been listening to Lime Sorbet this past year have written in asking about his music so you can imagine how pleased we are to announce Michael has his debut EP set for release on Citrona this summer.
