Lausanne - Dolce Vita

Where I live, there is the "Dolce Vita": it's a very little place in Lausanne where you can hear very good DJ's, good musics, each evening a different style. I think acid-jazz is on sunday evening and sometimes one more time in the week. There are concerts too, for example Mother Earth was there two or three months ago, and Skunkhour. There are sometimes very good concerts, but you have to be very carefull because there's not a lot of publicity.
The "Dolce Vita" organizes a Festival once a year.

Lausanne - Le Bleu Lezard

You can hear good music in "Le Bleu Lezard". It's a place where most of the students from Lausanne are going in the evening. Each tuesday, there's a Jam session (jazz, rock, funk...I've been playing there once!!!), and on wednesday (once a month) there's a concert. It's not realy a music club but sometimes you can see very good concerts or jam sessions. The other days of the week, there are DJ's, and the music is always very good (a lot of funk, acid-jazz, disco, hip-hop...)

Geneva - Palladium

In Geneva, there a place, which is not really a club, where you can see very good concerts: for example I've seen there Jamiroquai, Incognito... I think Galliano was there too (other styles: Ben Harper, Fishbone...).

Geneva - Le Chat Noir

In Geneva, there's a quiet old club called "Le Chat Noir" (the black cat), where you can hear different kind of music included Jazz and Acid-Jazz. I've heard that some musicians are playing there sometimes after their concert in Geneva, I mean late at night. Not an After-hour, but an "after-concert"...
