On Thursday we have a Disco called "Tanzboden" ("dancefloor" in german), on the other 2 days jazz concerts. While our concerts are in most cases undanceable, (check out "http://www.fh-ulm.de/ " you as Acid Jazz fan should check out our thursday event. We feature different DJ`s and live acts. Warning: Not all our DJ`s play Acid Jazz. You might stumble into an Hip Hop, Trip Hop, Funk/Soul, Jungle, Acid Jazz, Ragamuffin evening, or most possible: into a mix of the above mentioned styles.
We are currently testing to let live acts play at our tanzboden. If it succeds, and it looks like that, we will regularly put some band on stage, most probably acid jazz or funk/soul. E.g. this spring we have Soul Plumbers (12 piece soul/funk) on Spice ( retro-funk), Rapid Transit (canadian Acid Jazz), more to come.
Mid of october we organize a Festivel in different clubs of our city, probably headlining jazzmatazz or mc solar....

There´s a fine show every (and ONLY) Saturday evening (11pm-4am)
with up to 1000 Visitors
This is NO pure AJazz Club, also played are more modern expressions
like "TripHop", Jungle, HipHop, Dub Sounds and - of course -
the "classic" program including Jazz/Funk/Soul/Latin/Brasil
And now, there is also a second dancefloor with all kinds of
PURE HOUSE music. Every evening will be featuring one or more
guest DJ´s besides the resident "true grooves" DJ-team
(watch out for SHANTEL on 02/09/95!!!)
