Yeah, I grabbed the disc the other day, and I'm pretty happy with it. The
playing is incredible, and the arrangements are really tight. However,
the songs are a little aimless (this is my one big complaint of GC...),
and there are few real "songs" on the album...no real memorable melodies
or tunes, but great playing nonetheless. I wish they'd do more stuff with
Nappy G rapping, cuz those tunes are usually tight and cohesive. But,
yeah, the album's pretty dope. Worth getting if you love really jazzy
stuff. The tracks with Jay on Baritone rule, IMHO. anyone else?
