bd> The only thing it says with any confidence is that their music has
bd> been somewhat commercially successful. After that, we could talk about
bd> a whole shitload of reasons that most people on the list have heard
bd> before, and only one of part of which involves the quality of their
bd> music. By the way, I like BNH but don't listen to them much now. Like
bd> others, they were one of my first exposures to the sounds falling
bd> under the big aj umbrella. I wish they would put out something new,
bd> but I'm not sure I would like it that much if they did. Who knows?
i actually like their music also, it's just that they're not very jazzy to
me, so i feel uncomfortable when they are associated w/acid jazz. they're a
good band, but hyped WAY too much.
btw, n'dea should be coming out w/something relatively (ha ha) soon.
i think part of the problem is, it's hard for them to sell records w/o her.
i liked "heavy rhyme ex.", but most seemed not to. good luck guys!
