does anyone know of any good radio shows here in the big apple in the
jazzy-hip hop-"trip-hop"-OnTheOneJazzmapolitanMusicMagazine vibe? I was
recently in LA, and their NPR station has a show which is on every weekday
night from 7-9 which was great. They played everything from Outside to the
Pharcyde to Ruby to whatever. I used to listen to Liquid Sound Lounge on
WBAI, but it has either moved time slot or is not around anymore. Please
enlighten this lost disciple.
P.S. I highly recommend the magazine On The One, which I think is out of
S.F. and covers the great and varied spectrum of music, in interviews and
reviews, which is so-called "acid-jazz."
