I'm actually a bass player but I sure do love that Fender Rhodes sound! Here
are just a few suggestions for tasty listening: Earth, Wind and Fire -
Grattitude, Columbia (I'm listening to it now, Larry Dunn is god, there is
tons of great Rhodes and Moog work all over this amazing album), Various
artists - Move to Groove, Verve (Roy Ayers, Ahmad Jamal and more, more,
more), Weapon of Choice - Bozo the Town, Loose Groove (I'm telling you, these
guys are the new old-school bad-asses on the block and Keefus the keyboard
player is the nastiest motherfucker since Chris Jasper and Bernie Worrell.
Lots of Rhodes and Moog and Clav.), Donny Hathaway (I have a serious
weakness for Donny Hathaway, especially this double live album I've got. not
only is he one of the all-time most soulful singers but his Rhodes playing is
gorgeous.), D'angelo - Brown Sugar (In a similar vein, this 21 year old is
like a current version of Donny Hathaway meets Marvin Gaye with some Prince
thrown in. I like.) I know there is tons more out there, this is just what
comes to mind. Good luck on your quest.
