I agree with Elson,..to me "Acid Jazz" is a dumb label we're sorta stuck =
with but what it really means is "all-this-cool-music-we-really-love". =
This includes "Trip Hop". I'd prefer it stayed. I started off =
listening to the jazzier side of AJ and then picked up on "trip hop" =
through this list which has lead to more diversity in my CD collection. =
I don't think the volume of mail is large enough at this stage to =
separate acid jazz & trip hop. If you want to see big mail, subscribe =
to funky-music! Yeesh! I get a "funk-chunk" once a week and it takes =
ages to peruse.=20

Just to throw a spanner in the works,..is Portishead really Trip-Hop or =
is it "Subterranean Abstract Blues"? ;) Just had to throw that label =
in, it's such a beauty! (courtesy of Rebirth of Cool Phive). (I =
jest,..no discussion of this point need follow!). :-p
