Try Buckshot Le Fonque (Branford Marsalis with DJ Premier), try live hip hop and
drums from The Roots (rap from Philly) - that's two examples featuring both ends
of the jazz hip hop spectrum.

I have recently been blown away by Courtney Pine's latest album, 'Modern Day
Jazz Stories'
- for those who haven't heard it yet, it's got excellent sax & drums (real)
mixed in with
loads of scratches/samples. Most of it is superb.

Does anyone know of any other artists/groups which use a similar combination of
live sax
and drums with scratches & samples??
