of new things bouncing around our office - shows, singles, web schtuff
and more. Take a sec and check it out.

If this is not your cup of tea - reply "UNSUBSCRIBE" and I'll take you
off the list.

In an industry focusing so much on electronically produced sounds comes
an refreshing change. Organic dub vibes with lyrics as warm as the

remixes by the dub master Mad Professor and two powerful mixes by Smith &
Mighty.

2 Give You All The Love (Mad Professor Dubtronic Mix)

JAMIROQUAI

You knew it was coming - NOW HE'S BACK! A bundle of funk disco dynamite
packed into a fuzzy black hat and Adidas. June 7th marks the release of
Jamiroquai's latest album "SYNKRONIZED". In the tradition of Jamiroquai
albums Synkronized rolls with funky disco track with a mixture of heavily
synthesized bottom end, mad percussion breakdowns, silky bass and waves
of strings. Be on the look out for the first single "CANNED HEAT" which
will hit the street soon. Check out our web site for soon to be announced

MILES DAVIS

PANTHALASSA - THE REMIXES

Miles Davis' early 70's electric period was perhaps his most influential.
Last year, Bill Laswell created Panthalassa, his "reconstruction" of
Miles' music from that period. Critics and listeners agreed that Laswell
had provided a dynamic interpretation of Miles' music while staying true
to its spirit. In 1999 Laswell and five other re-mixers will set the jazz
world buzzing again with Panthalassa: The Remixes. The project reinvents
selected tracks from Panthalassa into hip-hop, electronica and drum 'n
bass settings by King Britt, Doc Scott, DJ Cam, Jamie Myerson and DJ
Krush. As a bonus, Bill Laswell returns to the original master tapes to
create a completely new take on Miles!

A single is out right now for radio/club promo with remixes of "IN A
SILENT WAY" by DJ CAM and "SHHH" by KING BRITT.

"Panthalassa: The Remixes" will be in stores May 25th - Don't miss it!

See http://www.giantstp.com/ for sound clips of "Rated X" remixes by Doc
Scott and Jamie Myerson also found on this wonderful compilation.
