In order to appreciate the Les Fleur cover, you have to understand
the level of respect that these cats have for people like Charles
Stepney and Roy Ayers. These classic tracks are a little holy - not
to be fucked with. So I'd really prefer to look at Les Fleur as an
homage, not a remix. It's lovingly done as well - if you dig the
original, the cover is bound to please.
Hell, even look at 4Hero's Naima from last year, similar approach
with less involved production.

You're correct Mark, Somatik is their engineer if I remember
correctly. I remember an interview where Dego mentioned that he
really wanted nothing to do with Drum n Bass on any level, and I
suppose that includes his own project with Marc. I'm not sure what
this says about where 4hero is going, but it makes me a little
nervous. Certainly some beautiful cuts on the LP though. Lovely
lovely lovely.
Personally, I'm waiting for the Hold it Down single with Bugz in the
Attic and Kaidi Tatham remixes. yum yum.
