Hi list,

A year ago, or so, there was a thread on the topic of weddings=20

I remember paying close attention to it as I had a wedding

gig coming shortly after.

The gig was very haunting as I realized I did not set the lowest

common musical demeanor low enough, resulting in

endless requests from the guests as well as from the brides obnoxious

mother. ( " Play something we can dance to " )=20

Clearly there was

an unintetional gap between guests and familty / friends with the

taste and musical preferences of the generations clashing together.

Afterwards I gave it a great deal of thought as I felt I brought

with me some very happy and dancable tracks and re-saddled

the horse to regain my momentum at my second wedding reception

some weeks later.

This was a much more pleasant and nice experience, and I felt confident=20

enough afterwards to accept three wedding gigs this summer.

With two of them done by now, to much praise and happiness I thought

I would share my playlist from my last gig this saturday=20

for you to get inspired by or comment upon.=20

It worked out extremely well with a constant share of dancing guests =
around 60 - 90 %=20

( out of 70 guests in all) , including people aged 40+ shaking their =
bootys and having fun.

Remember the playlist is born from sweat, tears and frustration, with =
the

delicate balance in mind between personal taste / integrity and

the great expectations surrounding as important a day as a wedding.
