I bought the INVISIBLE MAN, but for $16. It's alright but defintely not for $30.
In addition to the three mixes of invisible man, it's got three other songs
including a slower Brazilian groove of TREE, AIR, AND RAIN ON THE EARTH.
I think I like the one on the Rebirth of Cool 2 better though. The same 12"
also has that song that goes "Please Free Your mind, I just want to share
my time... " (I think it's called VIBES something). If you're into Mondo Grosso,
check out the KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE compilation - very impressive music covering
quite a range of acid-jazz styles from Japan (you can tell from this album that
Japan has a major scene going down there).

While I'm on the same topic, I picked up a compilation called LATIN SOUL
BOSSA NOVA AND AFRO FUNK. Highly recommend picking it up if you ever see
it. The only problem with this album is that other than the title of the
compilation, there is no other information on the album as to the titles
of the songs, artists, year of recording, even the record label/company's
name. Does anyone have/know of this album and can provide any info on its
tracks and artists? Much appreciated. The only track on it I recognize is
SOUL MAKOOSA (artist unknown).

On the same tip, I have a question about the following three songs:

TIGHTEN UP - by Al Escobar
- by Benny Gordon

SOUL MAKOOSA - recorded by at least two different artists.

KJEE - by Zamba Katanga
- by M.S.F.B. (off the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack).

Who is the original recording artist for each of these songs? Just curious.
Thanks :-)
