Greyboy Allstars and junk mail

Here's my mandatory aj related comment: the Greyboy Allstars are going to be in
San Francisco at the Elbo Room tomorrow night, San Jose on Saturday night and
Lake Tahoe on Sunday night. Monday night they're playing at a place called
"Truckers" around Lake Tahoe. And then here in good old San Diego next Wednesday
at the Green Circle. If they're really going to be in Vancouver at the end of
October, then be on the lookout for gigs in Seattle and other Northwest venues.
That's also around the time they're making another European tour. And if you've
been waiting, Karl Denson's new CD on Greyboy Records is out. They've been selling
it at the shows, so you might be able to get it in in Northern California this
weekend.

I missed the roots show in San Diego a week ago, but some of your comments make me
glad that I did. I don't know if I could've gotten in free and it was something like
$15 dollars at the door. That seems like a hell of a lot of money to me.

Inre to the junk mail problem, I have been quietly sending messages with very
polite comments about netiquette. It doesn't seem to be working, perhaps because
its only me. If you don't think it's really mean, and if there's anybody on the list
that you think is just posting waaaay to much crap, then do what I do: send them a
personal message "reminding" them that this list is only for music discussion
