Music Biz on the AJ list

Just to add my 2p's worth - I find it interesting to see the views of
people involved in the music business on this list. There are very few
people working in the business just for the money, most are also pretty
passionate about music.

I don't want to see the AJ list clogged up with press releases for new
records and tours - and so far we've been lucky - but I do value the
information about these records and tours if it is presented in an
informational style rather than advertising hype.

One of the AJ lists strengths is the number of members who are actively
involved in releasing records, writing magazines, DJ'ing or promoting
shows. It shows that the music we love is very much alive and developing.
