mango used to be island's reggae label, then it became the world beat label
when island sorta got out of reggae. this will probably continue, as island
is juicing up island jamaica to be a reggae force again.
for the most part, island product is distributed by polygram's big
distribution co., p.g.d., and mango and quango use i.l.s., polygram's
"indepedent" distribution co.
