It's strange but it took me a LONG time to get into them. Yes, they're great
and inventively named as well (after a vibrator). On the name-drop tip,
don't forget that Donald Fagen used Larry Carlton (guitarist) on Nightfly.
And Walter Becker knew a thing or two about bass playing...

Mind you there were '70s bands which used famous sesh players which weren't
quite so funky eg. Toto: Jeff Procaro, Steve Lukather, utterly unpleasant
MOR pop-rock songs. Oh well...
