G'day, here's some news from sunny Australia & boy is it starting to =
get hot down here - time to pop on Roy Ayer's "Everybody loves the =
sunshine", grab a cool drink, sit back & relax.

I spoke with One Movement Records last week and will be able to bring =
some new things to you after Christmas. I already have some info on =
Undertones Vol 1 on my site,..I will also have some info on Vol 2 and =
Vol 3 real soon now & hopefully some downloadable sounds etc.

I received a copy of the 12" single from Seattle band "Sharskin", list =
member Derek Boyd's project. This is an outstanding effort and features =
a really wild trumpet intro, you'll love it. I'll put something on my =
site about it real soon now. Tomorrow, (Sunday), DJ ALFIE will be =
spinning the vinyl at "The Rythmn Syndicate", after 3pm, in the streets =
of Adelaide outside Tapas, East End. He'll be spinning Sharskin for us =
so come on down for a listen if you're in Adelaide.

Australian readers of the street mag "RIP IT UP", should check out the =
next issue (or the one after), for a feature on my Oz-Groove-Zine web =
site....bang bang bang, beating my own drum...;-) It will be in Paul =
Kitching's regular column "All Funked Up" - if you are an acid jazz/funk =
etc fan, you should be reading this column!=20

Re: .SBK soundfont E-MU files. Has anyone got any acid-jazzesque =
.SBK files that are really jazzy, funky, groovy etc., and specifically =
contain samples of cool instruments like the Hammond B-3 organ? Tell =
me more, tell me more. My midi outfit is hungry for the coolest =
vibes...

Currently listening to these on the CD-player:
DJ FOOD "recipe for disaster", N. Takemura "Child's View", Ubiquity's =
"Home Cookin'", Roy Ayers "Everybody loves the Sunshine", Blue Note's =
"Straight No Chaser" 2 cd set & Mastercuts "Classic Rare Groove Vol 1"
